✈️ Air Travel: The most common and convenient way to reach Georgia is by air.

  • The main international airport is Tbilisi International Airport, located about 17 km from the city center. This airport has direct flights to and from several European, Asian, and Middle Eastern cities.
  • Other international airports include Batumi International Airport, on the Black Sea coast, and Kutaisi International Airport, which offers budget flights connecting with various European destinations.

🚅 Train: Georgia is connected by rail to some neighboring countries.

  • There is a train line from Tbilisi to Baku (Azerbaijan) and another that connects Tbilisi with Yerevan (Armenia).
  • Additionally, plans are underway to modernize rail links with Turkey.

🚗 Road: It is also possible to reach Georgia by road from neighboring countries.

  • The main land routes connect with Russia (via the Kazbegi Pass), Armenia, and Azerbaijan. The crossing from Turkey is also popular, especially for accessing Batumi or the Adjara region.
  • However, border crossings can be affected by weather conditions and other factors that impact road conditions.
